Nice. I should do something like that with the new Ys IV dub patch. I have to find my copy and remember how I patched it the last time. I remember all I made was a bunch of copies of my original till I got it right. :p

I don't know what it is, but the fact that it's Ys VI art on Ys IV just bothers me.
Still, Sadler did a nice job putting this light scribe together!

I'm glad my faith in this project wasn't misplaced.  I've avoided playing The Dawn of Ys this long specifically because I was waiting for the dub patch to be completed.  Bravo, guys!

I have to agree with that.  Every game has its own art style, and I'd prefer to stay consistent within each title myself when making cover art.  It'd be just as odd if you had used the PS Vita art instead...

YES!

Just read that the dub has been completed!!  Major congrats NightWolve... and thanks.  I know you've been championing Ys IV for a long time now, and to see the dub project meet completion must be icing on the cake~

I know as a fan of Ys IV, it's a good day... :D

Maybe something with this iconic Ys IV art,

Though only inclued the bit with Adol unsheathed his sword with it laying somewhere at the bottom of the disk.
Though I guess it doesn't matter to me since I don't own a light scribe drive to begin with

Thanks NightWolve and BurntLasagna! REALLY appreciate the work you guys did on this translation!

Didn't realize that lightscribe had made it over here. The mix of artwork is because I suck and used Google Image search for an Adol that fit on the disc, still I think it looks decent. :) faustie and his wife did the rear insert translation. If you want bewbless you can get it over at PCEFX. :D

Thanks again guys!

Been away from the site for a while, but I sign on a few days ago, and what do I find? The Ys IV dubbing project went live! I was having a pretty bad day up to that point too. Anyway, I dusted off my old Ys IV CD, applied the patch, and it is simply, awesome, fabulous, breathtaking, or any other adjective you can think of, insert here! I even bought another copy of the game if you can believe that! The quality of the voice acting is exactly what one would expect from a mid-90s Turbo release, even better because I've been hoping for this for quite a while! Did I mention that it is totally awesome?! Anyway, many thanks to Burnt Lasagna, Nightwolve, all of the voice actors (who ought to be commended for their fabulous work), and everyone else who was involved with the project. You have made me a happy man!
