Being a huge Ys fan I can not thank all the hard work that NightWolve and of course Duece have put into these projects. Without them the Ys saga would have died along with the TurboDuo to us English speakers. I was just wondering (a simple overview) of what it takes to create one of these great translations.

1) Dedication to the point of insanity.
2) Did I mention dedication to the point of insanity? Oh right, I did.
3) Ego, and lots of it. It really can't happen without that.
4) Spare time.
5) A combination of one good programmer and one good translator, both being Ys fans that grew up with the series while at the same time being polar opposites in terms of worldview, that somehow by an odd twist of fate ran into each other in their late 20s. Was it destiny? ...
Short of that, it is not possible to create such translation patches.

That's the way they all became the Brady Bunch...

It's too bad you aren't an actual localization company, it'd be sweet to see your works in stores lol
If only there was some kind of scaled localization fee, so it would be affordable early on yet profitable for them later as well.
Still, if you ever do go commercial be sure to let us know ;)
