I never had the first Melty Blood, but this Melty Blood is Ver B.  So I take it there is no patch.  The config screens for both games are somewhat different.

OK, you seem to have your Windows options set to either large or non-standard fonts or something, which causes the writing to expand beyond the normal boundary boxes for it.  But here goes anyway:

second last one is "increase the priority of this application" (ie. CPU resource share)
last one is "disable display of FPS in the title bar"
