Title: Next Ys game ?

What will be the next Ys game on PC ?

It's been a few years since they last made Ys 1-2 ;)
Or will it be Ys IV ?

Mmmmmm a new Ys?  I think Ys IV could be a safe bet...
Still, if they could make an expanded Ys 1 and 2 I'd go crazy!!

The official releases have been something like :
Ys 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 1, 2, 6, 3, 0 ?

Yeah a Ys IV remake would be pretty sweet, though a proper Ys VII would be even more awesome  ;D

What about another Ys Origin game (where you play in the past) ?
Ys -1 :)

An Ys VII would be VERY cool.
I hope they won't wait long to release the 7th episode.

I've been thinking about this, since it doesn't seem too far away until another Ys game hits.  Maybe sometime in 2008?  A new remake of Ys I-II would still be awesome, as long as they reinvent Darm Tower again.  It could be another fitting tribute to the twenty year history of Ys, as Origin was.  My hope is that it will be Ys VII though, and feature in addition to an Adol Quest, a Dogi quest.  Whatever happens, it will be another outstanding experience.

A Ys Online by Falcom would be cool... I don't even care how much mindless grinding we'll do. Hopefully would have pretty outfits for the girls (so my girlfriend would care to play lol).

Well, it's not on PC, but Ys 1 and Ys 2 are coming to the Nintendo DS (in Japan) soon.  As separate games, unfortunately.

Na that is more of a reference to the fact that so many other game systems have used region locking. It is really retarded when they have control of the software being sold all the same.

I was scanning the newsletter [in japanese] they send; when I came across ...
"Ys SEVEN" ... which definitely stood out lol

Mmmmmmmmmmmm I wonder where Adol's adventures take him this time?
[assuming Adol is the main character...]
