yeah i've been hired since last september at EAM (Electronic Arts Montreal)... and i've been doing the video editing for the whole studio since...

I've worked on SSX Blur that came out this week for the Wii...

and i'm working on Army of Two (i do the cinematics between each levels... actually i only assemble them together... and i also create the trailers that gets released online... and its great!!)
Oh and im using Adobe premiere for the edits... 4TB fiber channel @ 2GB/s for HDD.. 3 24inch monitors.. 4Gb ram and a Dual Xeon 3.0ghz...

Well, I started the game on thursday... started again on friday with a friend... finished it saturday with him....

all i have to say is : WOW... the game itself is a masterpiece... and your translation... incredible... the small hesitation in the characters... the big bold shouting in higher fonts... everything was perfect!!... only detail that wasnt translated was the small "video" when the wall of the ancient is speaking to you... but didnt mather much...

I thought the ending was going up a kind of "tower" in the middle of the isle... where he met Elena and fought the final battle... not going down the middle of the earth?!.. that was pretty weird.. wasnt at all like i remembered it from the snes version! hehe...

I could only give you $10... it's not much... but the federal government is asking for 1K this year... and it hurts REALLY bad... even though i have a new job at Electronic Arts (im really proud btw... hehe.. doing the Video editing on the New PS3/X360 title Army of Two - to be released nov.13-2k7 if things dont change again...  and its gonna be AWESOME!!! i love every second of it and cant wait to see the final product!! ...

So for your awesome incredible work.. you deserved that at the very least!

Well i've read in other thread that thoses who have donated already have the patch...

How much do you request to get it now? I've had the game for a little less than a year now and i dont really want to ressort to walkthrough... and im stuck cause its in jap and i dont really understand... hehehe...

So im being 100% honest here, how much is required to get the patch beforehand? It was supposed to be released before the new year... and it still isnt...

Thank a lot for the work you have put in this... i know a game is incredibly huge... (im actually working for EA Montreal on Army of Two for PS3/X360)... It is REALLY appreciated... especially since Falcom cannot find a team to simply do it and release it officially...

yeah it does look awesome!! too bad i cam back too late to have fun editing stuff!

im kinda bad with fonts and typos... but i just tried task 3 and that last map for fun... and it was looking pretty cute

anyway cant wait for it to finish... i was stuck with the game and put it on hold till i could get english... hehe... and i'll definitively find some money for a donation too when this is released!

well i did step 2.... didnt took very long... and its decent looking... same glow as the kenji had...

you asked to translate if possible the middle... but i have absolutely no idea how or where to start....

then you asked to keep the same font as the original... but i dont have any exemple of the original therfore its pretty hard to come up with something that look alike...

finally, i had no idea what options to use when saving using the nvidia photoshop plugin... i tried the "render 2d" and it looked great... then i just hit save...

anything around christmass is great!

i personally was affraid the project "could" be forgotten altogether like many team have done in the past... "RPGe / Trans-something / etc"... i was following the progress untill... well the site goes down... never to be heard from again... /cry.....

fortunately, MOST of the translation project have been picked up by another group and finished since... the ONLY one i have yet to find completed somewhere (if ANYONE knows where i'd be MOST gratefull) is 7th saga 2 (ie : Mystik Ark)...

--cant wait for the translation of YS3 remake... the game is really awesome!

where exactly is it written? in the intro of YS3-Felghana remake?

also, back to the main topic..... im not putting ANY pressure at all, merely curious...

so........ when will it be released?
any other newz than "before" the end of the year?
cant wait to actually "play" it for real!!

well i messed around with jap stuff the whole day and managed to make it work!! I had to download a patch from the official webpage ((ysf_1203.zip)) to make it work... It then worked with jap system and it Now even works when im in french with applocale!!

perhaps my computer hardware was too "new" for the game... I do have a X1900XTX from ati and there seemed to be a few problems with the new x1000 series and the game...

anyway!! just stopped by to say thanks for doing such a wonderfull job! i played YS1/2 for the first time a few weeks ago using your patch.. and they were awesome! Cant wait to understand this one too!!

hi all!
I tried dling Applocale, installed it, then the "patch"
i run the app, select the exe of the game... but nothing happens...
i tried installing japanese region and keyboard but it still doesnt work...
config.exe seems to run in the background but never comes up with any windows..
any suggestion how i could fix this?
