Ys IV: The Dawn of Ys / Re: Ys IV: Dawn of Ys Script

'Kay, so it wasn't Lemnos, it was Dr. Flair, and it was scripted some lines below. So I guess I saw the scene before Psycho DeuceBag :P Sorry!

Good game actually. I wasn't sure what to expect (I had never played a Turbografx game), but it turned out to be great! Guess I'm becoming an Ys lover huh

Well, I started playing this game and wow, once again, the translation is very good  :D Thanks, once again.

But I've run into a little script problem! When I reached Arieda Village, I entered Karna's house. She talked to me (without voice), and then I walked out of the house. But then a man talked to me (WITH voice), and there was no script for it.

Quote
[Later, Karna comes to help.]
Duren:     "Hm? What the...?  Who the heck are you?"
Karna:     "Shh! Keep it down! I'm going to break the lock."
Duren:     "Whoa! I don't know who you are, babe, but thanks a million!"
Karna:     "I told you to keep quiet! Now follow me!"

10. Arieda Mine - Lemnos is Injured
Karna:     "Lemnos!"
Lemnos:    "Ugh..., We must... protect... Lord Slano's tomb... from... the Clan
           of Darkness...!"

You see? Between those two, there should be this man's dialogue scripted. I'm supposing the man's Lemnos, or something...

Well that's reassuring! Thanks! I'm really looking forward to the translation and I thank you once again. Your work is wonderful.

I'm not going to ask "how much longer?" or "will it make it to Christmas?" cause I know those questions are annoying. I'm just going to ask if it is making any progress, just that. Because I'm really looking forward to this translation, and it'd be a shame if it remained stagnant.

Thanks a lot for all your wonderful work.

Bruno.

Ys I & II Complete / Re: Can't get Luta to... (spoiler)

Well, 10. I thought it was weird to see there was a limit to levels, but then again that is quite nice, since it allows you to win using your abilities, and not judging how much time you've spent grinding...

I played it in normal. I'm really a pansy in action games  ;D

I think you should equip all the silver equipment, Fact should be a lot easier.

That was sooo useful! How the heck was I supposed to know that I should wear those?? So I finally beat him! After a thousand tries and some sweating  ;D

Now on to Ys 2!

Ok, so I hadn't read the book with the monocular, that's why Luta didn't recognize it!

But now I'm at the last boss, and oh my god... It's impossible! This things looks like a Cave manic shooter! How the hell am I supposed to NOT die here? There's plenty of balls flying around, and whenever I hit the guy, I inflict him minimal damage...

Hello! Thank you for this wonderful translation!

Well, I'm nearing the end. In fact, I was about to enter the last boss's room on F25 on Dahm Tower, but I cannot enter due to some strange force. Well then, I went *all* the way back to the old man on the mirror floor, and he told me that Luta has some amulet that could help me repel that force. Well, I descended even more, into F11, and found the little guy. But he just thanks me for having rescued Leah! I don't get it. What do I have to do to have him give me that amulet??

Thanks a lot.

EDIT: Oh, I forgot, he tells me that he recognizes those books (I have all 5), and that he had one but he lost it.
