If I where to have a income of $80000 I would donate $45000. So if I only earn $300 monthly the I could donate $60.

Well I'm not part of Dattebayo LOL. They announced it on their site. If Ys fanbase was bigger and they knew about this place, then it would be unnecessary to go shareware because you just have to say "I need every cooperation because we need this and this and it will cost this and without your help I will have to terminate all projects." Then the money would appear in less than a week. Anyway please tell me what is the best debit card to use in Japan?

Hell even the fansub community is more cooperative. Dattebayo said -Our server won't work anymore so we either 1- Stop doing fansubs or 2- we buy a new server with your help. Then the other day more than $9000 USD appeared.

Sum that to the price of the game and the shipping range of most people. Remember that it may still be illegal to reverse engineer a closed source code even if it is not licensed in our countries without permission from Falcom and because you are moving shareware you may attract unwanted attention. So watch your back and I hope you won't quit translation even if that the final option.

But of course! Pirates are not to help you but to rob you. After that they will try to crack your patch and include a keygen and a viral file with the game to share it on P2P software. They don't care about your efforts or dedicated time for that matter. But to try to battle them and your will waste your time encrypting your work etc. That will consume
all you resources and time as well. Then you will ask this yourself "All my hardwork for nothing and this is how they repay me? I will now shutdown the website and close my doors to translation for I will not waste anymore my time." and then everyone will lament and cry "Noooooooo!!!!! why? if only I had donated $20 USD then these terrible fate would had not fallen upon us"

Well at least it would be $5 USD that is the range of must cheap bastards. If he charges more then people will become bossy and demanding. Shareware could work but what if we and the people on Seldane board are the only Ys fans who will buy a patch?

Yeah so he can be hunted down by authorities? Don't be so vain! Falcom don't mind by now if they are aware of the releases of this translations because they are free. But if these goes shareware things may change. If there is someone rich in this community please make at least $100 donation. If only 25 people where to donate $100 USD it will make a difference. I hope that someone at least a single soul could donate $35000 USD. I'm planing to take a International Debit card but I don't know witch one is the best to buy directly from Falcom.  Visa or Master Card.

Well normally when someone does a translation in another language based on another one, that person will mention in the credit section where the source translation is found and the people who created the first translation. It is common knowledge or else they will get flamed by the community.

Ys I & II Complete / Re: how do i jump?
« on: Jan. 15, 2007, 12:35:28 AM »
Hehe It seems that he thought that these games had the same engine as Origin, Napishtim and Felgana. To attack a enemy you must get close to them and ram at them in a diagonal way. you wont move diagonally but here is a examplle with dots .'     get it?

Ys I & II Complete / Re: how do i jump?

LOL you can't jump in this game.

15
I agree! If no one can't find a better one then I say go with this one.

16
That font looks excellent but if you want to have something that looks like the Japanese one is just that one but with less bold or may I say a little thinner but just a little bit. The problem is that I cannot find it........sorry......

Did you use a Visa International card? They are supposed to be international for a reason.
I wonder if they are mistaken.

Ys: The Oath In Felghana / Re: Ys: The Oath in Felghana Translation
« on: Jan. 02, 2007, 07:54:35 PM »
I've received fake e-mails from Ebay and Yahoo, also. I've even had my Ebay account suspended because of unauthorized access. It really seems like all people are out to do anymore is to try to scam others. About a year ago, I applied and was approved for a new Mastercard online. For two or three weeks I was waiting for the card to show up in the mail, but I never got it. I then got a call from the credit card company saying that I owed $10,000 on a card I had never even received. Some sorry bastard intercepted the card and maxed it out.
But anyway, I get worried about buying stuff online myself. I usually only buy from sites like Amazon.com or Tigerdirect.com, because they've both been around for a long time and I've never had any problems from them.
Tigerdirect.com have a bad service and their cookies are recognized as spyware
by most scanners.

Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim / Re: Should I get Ys VI for PC?

Except that the Galba armor didn't  looked as fearsome as it should looked. Hell even Web Bob on the Reboot series looked more fearsome. (In that time there was nothing better to see).

Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim / Re: Super jump?
« on: Dec. 29, 2006, 12:42:33 PM »
It seems extremely difficult when the super dash jump has to count for Adol landing on a small ledge in order to get to a rare chest. I also wish the programers had thought of something a bit easier in executing the move. There was one dungeon in particular that seemed to be very annoying since each time I missed the jump, I would fall to the rooms below.

Still, I seem to recall an issue of timing to be the key to successfully pulling it off. I can't remember but I think there was a delay of sorts between the two? button sequences.

Good luck!

-SkyeWelse
And that place was the ancient bio-tech lab known as Ruins of Amnesia where the mysterious evil eye is contained in a glass? That eye don't have any relation to the story but yet it intrigues. There is 2 items to get: 1- Galba Hand  2-Bloody Nail and 3-Eldian Orb.

If the PS2 version had the option to switch between the 3D models and the 2D Sprites and
if Konami didn't remove the blood and pieces of monsters, then the PS2 version would be the best because of just 2 things. Those things are Crevia's eye candy and the Japanese voice dubs.

Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim / Re: Should I get Ys VI for PC?
« on: Dec. 23, 2006, 02:30:05 PM »
Oh yeah, one more thing. Konami essentially kept the script 1:1. I can match almost any screenshot from the PS2 version with text I extracted from the PC version. The PS2 version has additional script for Crevia, menus, and other stuff, etc. but it starts with all the script from the PC version as its base. So, yeah, don't be buying it just yet if waiting for me is the main factor and you thought you'll get a considerably different script when a patch does get released.
Does that means that you will be able to insert Crevia and the Alma trials on the PC version?  :)

Nope they didn't mention anything until now.

I say that is best to leave things as they are so the patch may not be delayed any further.

Ys Origin / Re: Ys Origin

The game was released yesterday in Japan but websites are silent about it. I wonder if it sold well and if people here who imported the game had received it.

37
But those titles looks best by adding a "The" before.
