I was thinking boy, sure wish we had a nice black ops unit for the internet to 'take care' of scum.

Now that's a job I would like to have! Imagine the pure satisfaction of removing this disgusting internet trash. Well, in my mind I've got some sort of Judge Dredd imagery going on mixed with total identity hacking. Like in "The Game" with Michael Douglas if you need an example.

I concur. It's best to go through Falcom. It's relatively painless even if it does take a little longer to order by trading e-mails. Fortunately they seem to have some kind of form e-mail they use that's already translated (fairly decently) into the king's English. I ordered Ys Origin through them and it came pretty swiftly. Unfortunately it's prepatched to the latest version so I don't think the translated setup patch utility works with it. I ordered Felghana through Play Asia and paid about 10-15 USD more than I should have. I did get the deluxe version with the music CDs though, so in the end I was a happy camper.

I like the bit where he claims you're violating the "rules of fan-translations". Rules? There are no rules here.  You could release a "fan-translation" where everything Dogi says is some kind of come-on to Adol if you really wanted to. What a waste of oxygen.

I've been attempting to convince my warez-monkey friends that they really ought to be paying for this stuff and now that they have steady income and therefore have NO excuse at all. So far: no luck.  Just goes to show you that the free-loader mentality is difficult to break. More props to ya, NightWolve for sticking to your guns.

I haven't actually had much time to play Felghana since I got it. Transitioning job/living place factored into that as well as an unplanned business trip to Alaska. Worse, it doesn't look like I'll get to do it soon simply because they're moving me again. This time to Las Vegas though instead of .... Huntsville, Alabama.  So I've done as much as to pop in Felghana, install it, install the patch and play to the Illburn Ruins. That's about it. So uh... beta report... it works on Vista 64 bit. *hides*

Am I the only one that finds Elana's Adol costume completely terrifying? I mean, idolizing Adol is one thing, but dressing up like him and forgetting to wear pants is just plain wrong. The only thing slightly more horrific is that there is also a Chester costume.
