General / Tablet PC + Falcom games - is it possible?

Hello,

I'm planning to buy a tablet PC

I was wondering if there exists a tablet PC that could handle the Falcom games (preferably from Ys 6 to Sora no Kiseki SC) at above minimum settings (even better if it can handle max settings at no problem).

My priority in the purchase is the tablet PC part, but if there is a tablet PC that I could play my Falcom games on (you know - at a quality that you won't say your laptop sucks at gaming:P) then it'd be great.

Why tablet PC?
I'm in an art major ^^

So far I know a few like "tubulars" and "radicals" and Bart's "Eat my Shorts".

Been hearing bout Ys since I've seen an ad in a 1992 (GASP) Gamepro issue.

But I never had any interest in the game until I stumbled upon Nightwolve's fan translation site.

Yep, that made me into a fan who shells out hundreds of dollars on Ysgames and related merchandise^^

Not only that, but now I'm questioning whether Zelda is now the best action RPG^^

Why would it be called "The Dawn of Ys"? It is not going to be a "The Dawn of Ys" remake. It will be a Mask of the Sun remake.

That's called the "Misleading Title" trick

Hopefully the Ys IV remake would be the definitive part IV of the story

But I think they should add "Wanderers of" to the title^^

Don't you think they should call the Ys games from now on "Wanderers from Ys" since the Ys story arc was finished on the first two games and ended up becoming mere references?

There is no region protection to my knowledge.

There is since the game wouldn't even work unless you tinker with the Regional Settings.

Forgive me if this is an irritating question but:

Do you plan to release a no region patch for Oath of Felghana very soon?
I wanna play the game at school because everytime I get home I'm always too tired and end up spending my time with sleep which is overrated^^

Don't worry, I got the game legally and I could take pictures of myself with it if you want proof^^
Hopefully everybody else has it legally too^^

It's not much to do on my part but I'd like to tell everybody that, with my experience with Oath of Felghana:
The Ys series, and all video games in general, seem to be more fun to play when you spent money on it.

Quite a shame that Dawn of Ys is sorta in an alternate timeline but for me it has the best (and I mean THE BEST) artwork in the series and it has a soundtrack that rivals even Oath of Felghana (especially that rocking Tower of Shadow and Death remix that should be in Psycho DeuceBag's alternate soundtrack) ^^

Even more of a shame was the fan dub project was scrapped. Either Nightwolve comes up with a way to add subtitles, or a miracle would happen and the fan dub project get's revived. T_T

If Falcom (and I do mean Falcom) is ever gonna remake Ys IV, I hope they grab the same character designer for Dawn of Ys , use voice acting (they're the dudes who voiced in the 80s Gundam shows I think), and probably improve the music if possible (and possibly Oath of Felghana quality).
