Well, 2010 and 2011 seem to be an excellent year for ys fans who have psps, as well as a good year for people who work with NightWolve. Deuce's work is being used by XSEED for their domestic releases of the ys games. I just ordered Ys Seven, but it hasn't come in the mail yet. Has anyone played it and have anything cool to say about it?

Same here,Not A real avid gamer anymore. The last game I sat down and played through was Fallout 3.That was like over A year ago.Been mostly into collecting game compilations.Like Sega, capcom, midway, snk ect.

Kinda miss the good old days, coming here and seeing Nick tear someone A new one lol.

Yeah, same boat as you. I'll have to buy a PSP eventually but the trouble is I'm not much of a gamer anymore. I still have tons of untouched PS1/PS2 console games to play (maybe in my retirement I'll finally get around to playing 'em), nevermind going to a new portable system. I've made exceptions for Ys games of course over the years, so yeah, basically it's rare as hell for me to actually sit down with a videogame from start to finish...

Nice news about Felghana! He better be in the credits :D
Now if I just had a PSP...

Been entirely offline for almost 2 months straight and probably will be for another month after today's quick visit... God, hate cleaning up your inbox after a long absence, ya know? =

Well, just doing a quick drive-by hello, and yessss, what you might've heard about XSEED is true! XSEED's upcoming Felghana PSP port will be using Deuce's translation work! When I have a moment to breathe in the future, I'll say a few words about it, reflections and such. Well, hasta luego. =)

YES!!! Ys I & II Chronicles, Ys ~The Oath in Felghana, Ys Seven, and the entirety of The Legend of Heroes ~Trails in the Sky~ have all been licensed in North America by XSEED. Very sweet news indeed.

I'm just wondering if they're going to dub the voices or provide a dual audio option.

Sent by NightWolve on Apr. 15, 2010, 06:46:47 PM[ Delete ]

Ah nevermind, yeah, it was broken. Fixed.

Man, I've been away a while, I don't even finish my rants anymore... Heh-heh. There are still 2 main entries I have yet to get back to and now I wonder if the Ys IV dub idea was worth pursuing. I just don't have the energy that I used to and then there's the Ys "fanbase" which only grows more and more disgusting/detestable to me every year... The thought of them getting their warez hands on new patches by me is something I haven't reconciled with, I guess. It's very tempting to leave everything as is, as the Felghana leak left it 3 years ago. But, the time to make a final decision one way or another hasn't yet come so until then.

Was the Falcom Weekly Special feature broken for any length of time? I came back today to fix it thinking it was broken from the other day, but looks like it's OK now. Probably was the transition from one sale to another as the image is changed.

Ah, so they succeeded with SO II, huh? I was trying to help, but I couldn't get in touch with Tru over IM to give him some stuff. Oh well... Anyway, I'll check it out some time.

I'm not sure if everyone is aware, but the Startling Odyssey II patch has just been released. It Looks great. I can't wait to try it out as I just bought a copy of the game and I'm pulling my hair out waiting for it to get here. For anyone interested, go to the Magic Engine forums and download it from there.

Bullshevik Barack-Iraq "NOT-THAT-INSANE-HUSSEIN" Obama-Osama-YoMama-Alabama-Havana-Is-Nirvana isn't qualified to run a 7-11 let alone the presidency of these United States...

Sent by NightWolve on Feb. 23, 2010, 07:45:38 PM[ Delete ]

Hey Sanhime, I haven't see ya around in ages! Well, that's very cool, so you did your small part to help take away the "sacred" Kennedy seat from them, eh ? Bet that made 'em mad, FIGHTIN' MAD!!! Explosive Billy "the Bomb-thrower" Ayers mad I'd say!!! Heh-heh.

You know, I smell something very potent these days with our miserable malcontent friends: FEAR! As in, what's going to happen come November.

BTW, I wouldn't use "democratic agenda" to characterize this/them. That's an abuse of the word 'democratic' frankly as they represent anything but... These are New Left 1960's throwbacks that are running the party. They're statists, driven by a type of Neo-Marxism, that hate democracy as much as they hate capitalism because both essentially pick winners and losers and they don't like being on the losing end when the voters have their say, so they do anything they can to insulate their agenda from democratic accountability by packing all the bureaucracies, the courts, with their shills/lapdogs to carry it out long after they've lost an election...

When it comes to this miserable failure of a president, literally the worst, most expensive president in all of American history, we're gonna be paying a price at least 20-30 plus years in terms of the cumulative effect all his judicial appointments will have... (It's because of the two B.J. "Bubba" Clinton appointments that terrorists in Gitmo have gained access to the federal courts.) I sure hope he's a one-termer and doesn't get another Supreme Court appointment cause we're fucked otherwise.

Just look at 'im, he's not qualified to run a 7-11 let alone the presidency of these United States... He's a commie punk lawyer/street agitator that can read a good teleprompter, that's about it. He knows how to sign whatever bill Nancy "the Stretch" Pelosi and Dirty Harry Reid bring him. He soooo smart! Smartest president we ever had according to the freaks!! What a disaster...

As resident, voter and campaign worker for Senator Scott Brown, I am prod to say that it is the beginning of the end for Obama's and the Democratic's agenda. God bless America. ;D

OMG! YAAAAAAAAAAY! Great news! History was made yesterday! The Bolshevik Democrats have lost a senate seat, and not just ANY senate seat, but one that was held for almost half-a-century by the infamous Ted "The Red Champion Swimmer" Kennedy (AKA The Cape Cod Orka)! And with it, goes a reliable 60th filibuster-proof vote! Their despotic rule is slowly coming apart!

Happy New Year indeed! 2010 is getting started off just right, one less democrat in Congress!! Thank you Obama! He promised "change we can believe in" and now it's finally starting to happen! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Eh, trying to finish the upgrade to the latest SMF. The YsFire template has to be rebuilt. Mostly though, the FWS Mailorder feature has gotten some improvements.

Oh, I did finally add a generic Contact Me form for everyone that never managed to find my email address... You know, my really really hard to find email address that's in the ReadMe of EVERY Ys patch I've ever made...

Going to see Avatar today... Wonder if it will live up to its budget?

Sent by NightWolve on Dec. 25, 2009, 06:27:36 PM[ Delete ]

"Avatar"

James Cameron

Production budget over $300 million!

Any questions?

I liked how the pilot episode of "V" took such blatant shots at Prez. Barack H. Obama. The "free healthcare" bit and the leader of the Visitors demanding positive media coverage from the interviewer. Really blatant. Definitely surprised ABC, being who they are, let that go through... I haven't had a chance to see another episode though; better get to that before hulu expires them.

Ended up being hooked on V. Too bad it ended so soon! (for now)

Sent by X-Calibar on Nov. 08, 2009, 05:53:52 PM[ Delete ]

Oh yeah, I caught the last half of the premier... Not bad... Could be interesting. Not my favorite, but I'll give it a chance.
A quick rundown of my favorite shows : Lie to Me, Mentalist, White Collar, Heroes [Sylarrrrr], Burn Notice, The Closer; ...without Terminator I can't think of any scifi series I'm hooked on.. oh and CSI : Miami always cracks me up... Horatio... 8)

I dunno if you guys remember the old 1983 "V" miniseries ("Visitors"), but ABC has launched a reimagining of it. It's up on Hulu so you can give it a whirl:
