Gah, I'm new at this...

Hey, just started checking into the copy of Ys Eternal Complete I downloaded from a torrent and so far I've been able to use daemon tools to install/ mostly install Ys I.  However, whenever I try to run it the following window pops up: YsI & II Eternal (crazy symbols, hah not japanese,)  Game Disk (more crazy symbols.)  I have the option to retry and cancel. 

Any help would be really really appreciated.  And it's as I said in the subject, I'm completely new to this whole running japanese pc games bit.  Thanks very much for the help in advance!

I think you might get more help out of this board if you went out and actually purchased this game. I really doubt anybody here is going to help you out.  Piracy is really frowned upon here. 

Its still available, for such a great set of games its not expensive, and the box they give you is worth its weight in your currency.  Do yourself the favor and pick it up for all involved.

thanks you took it a lot better than I originally thought (didn't want to start a piracy flame war thingie ><)  but seriously, when you see how well this box is made... you'll know you made a great investment.

Nah, no biggie, I really do prefer to actually support the companies.  Besides I prefer ninja!  Anywho, so the games can be ordered via email from falcom directly right?

If you can't get your downloaded version to work then who says you can get your bought copy to work? I don't know, try changing the system settings to jap and install it. I remember on my old computer I had to do that and it annoyed the monkeys out of me always having to restart the comp and go from enlgish to jap and vice versa. My new computer doesn't require that wich makes me super happy.

If you are using deamon tools you got an iso, so take all the files and copy them to the computer and apply all the patches and then run it. Maybe that will work too.
