So, I was thinking about finally buying Ys I-II complete after finishing Ys Oath of Felghana, and I read the readme for the Ys I-T english patch, and saw that "Popular Edition" version, that seems to be 2 DVDs and all. How is it any different from the Ys I-II normal version? Does it have any extras like the PS2 version or something like this?

It has different packaging, there is no game differences.

I think there is very minor disc difference or two, as I recall, NW needed to update the translation patch because of it. I don't remember what it was, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was a dumb thing like a new DVD label and isn't something you'll need to worry about.
