So you want to be a "hero"?

Or "Romhacker, Fan Translator", whatever.

Where would one begin if they were interested in learning about how the process is done and/or how to get into this scene concerning PCE-Engine or SNES games?

I'm writing some utils at the moment for Hacking PCE graphics. I plan to write some tutorials as well.

Translating however, is a whole 'nother game.  Try www.romhacking.net  - almost nothing PCE, but ton of SNES info, projects, and noob( ;D .. <_< .. >_>..) docs.

Well that's cool. And yeah it seems that most of the PC-Engine romhacking scene is right here. I don't think too many people go after the PC-Engine games, which is a shame.

Thanks for the link, I'll have to check it out. I've been very curious as to how the how process works and whether or not someone like me is able to romhack. If it looks like I can, I would want to try doing one of the Xak games, either the PC-Engine Xak I & II version or the Super Famicom version of Xak I. Both would be interesting enough to learn how the process is done at least and just to play around with the idea.

Not much "romhacking" but we're making our own PC Engine games.
DVDs are for suckers. Illegally pirated and stolen videos all the way. No menus. No "DO NOT PIRATE THIS!" screens. No fuss. Only perfection. I honestly only pirate movies because that "don't pirate this" screen annoys me.

Indeed, it's AV time. Check out: ! Sir, the door was open.

Hmm really now? That sounds very interesting. Please keep us posted on how that goes and what games you all plan on working on.

Edit: Ah after checking your forum, it seems that you all are working on creating the missing final Neutopia game, Neutopia III. That sounds quite fun, I'd be interested in lending a hand with that if you need any extra help. I enjoyed playing through the first two games.
