I'm running the last beta build and Oath works fine. You still have to switch Vista to Japanese though. There is an interesting thing in the menu that lets you set different regions for different profiles. I haven't tried it yet, but that might mean playing a Japaneses game is as easy as switching to a different user/profile.
Ys 1 & 2 complete work as well. I might have had to put Ys 1 in computability mode, but it still worked without problems after that.
