Ys I.II COMPLETE and Ys I Eternal + Ys II Eternal
« on: Mar. 14, 2006, 03:59:42 PM »
Does anybody knows if there are any script / text differences between Ys I.II COMPLETE and Ys I Eternal & Ys II Eternal? I mean, for example: Does ALL the game's characters say the VERY SAME thing in both COMPLETE and Eternal?... If anybody knows, I would be glad to be informed. ^^

Well Ys I Eternal has the staff room, so there is a difference right there...

Heh, thank ya for telling me. I appreciate it.^^ That is something I was really wishing to know ;D

But you see,...the staff room is somekind of secret room that you can talk with the staff members? (I'm only taking a wild guess xD)

It's pretty much the same as the Developer's Room ending in Chrono Trigger, from what I have heard.  I have never personally acquired it (I never finished the Eternal version of the game -- just Complete and the Turbo version), but I hear it's obtained by finishing the game, then killing yourself off and pressing Y and S simultaneously at the Game Over screen.
This is TDOMMX (formerly Magus0857) signing out.

Hmmmm... I see. That seems very interesting! And I think you noticed already,but... Pressing Y and S simultaneously makes a lot of sense, since with those two letters you write the word "YS".

I will get my hands on Ys Eternal I in probally two or three weeks.

Also thanks for the info.^^

Ya know, I think that I remember there being some new characters who visit you in the "world of dreams" or something like that. You can always go to MJMMX's site. I think there's a link around here somewhere. He has all the stuff listed that's secret in Ys I&II both complete and Eternal I believe.

I guess I should also thank him for the site itself. It really helps me to realize the full potential of these already amazing games. Thanks MJMMX and anyone who helped out with the site there.

Peace Out

Ya know, I think that I remember there being some new characters who visit you in the "world of dreams" or something like that.

That's only in the PS2 game; Ys ETERNAL STORY.
DVDs are for suckers. Illegally pirated and stolen videos all the way. No menus. No "DO NOT PIRATE THIS!" screens. No fuss. Only perfection. I honestly only pirate movies because that "don't pirate this" screen annoys me.

Indeed, it's AV time. Check out: ! Sir, the door was open.
