Then I'd be selling it and it'd be shareware. There is no warez'ing if my final intent is for it to be freeware. There's merely an early, temporary intent to create incentive for donations. My issue with warez kiddies is them a) undercutting that incentive to others by one of them throwing a donation my way and leaking the patch during this phase and b) whining to me about how they should get it now and can't muster up a donation, even $5, if they wanted to, etc. Both are attempts to undercut my humble (what I think) and temporary effort to recover some compensation for all the time I've spent creating this patch.

I think to keep your YsF translation from being warezed maybe just released it to donators. (even tho i am not a donator) but that is my opinion

Don't matter if you can't wait. It's a) not completely ready yet, and b) I intend to put the candidate release through another trial run available only to donaters/project members/assistants and a select few friends. They'll have access to the final patch 12 days (when it's ready, a 12 day countdown will begin) prior to it going public for all the warez kiddies like you. If you don't have a Credit Card, then you also didn't buy the game itself, so your begging has that much less merit/value to me...

I also wanted to add how much the translation kicked ass and how "proofread" and "error-free" it was as opposed to many official corporate game translations I've seen in the past. And most importantly I've never really liked Ys III as much due to the main support characters not being too interesting to me with the boring stagnant text that they had in older English versions of Wanderers From Ys. But Deuce, your translation really manages to bring out the depth of their character and makes them extremely likable characters that you can love, support and hate with passion. Thank you both for working so diligently on this project. : )

Yeah, don't fall for Justus' sudden enthusiasm to take up the project again. And Justus, you don't need to run it by me. I mean, it's all up to you if you wanna do it. There is also a guy that runs the turbo2k forums that approached me about trying to do it. I never got around to give him the files to begin though. But maybe you wanna work with him. Whatever the case, I don't want it mentioned in public anymore unless it ever gets to 50% complete by whomever.
