MP Bug ?!

I have a problem in Ys II Complete (with English Patch installed): Adol doesn't gain any MP when he gains a level, and even at level 12, he still has 0/0 MP :o. I recupered Fire Magic in the mine, but without MP and magic, I can't beat the first boss ... Is it a bug ? Please help :-\ Thanks.

Ahahahah I'm just a noob. I discovered I had to get the staff of divinity in Moondoria Ruins en touch the goddess statue with it, in order to gain the ability to use magic. Ahahahah ;D.

Sorry for the trouble and thanks for the excellent job done one these patches.
